Hey friend,
It’s a sunny Sunday afternoon. I just came back from a chill morning with the family.
We drove our 2 bikes and 2 children to my favorite cafe in my hometown. Cruizing downtown and swinging by my daughter’s favorite playground.
We’re about to sit down for a wholesome, delicious home-cooked meal.
And meeting friends in the afternoon to soak up the sun, have some fun, and talk about their recent trip to Prague. The beautiful city I call home.
Before embarking on this adventure, I wanted to make sure I hit publish and share a piece of wisdom that feels most alive for me right now.
Did you miss last week’s newsletter on how to avoid building another tiring job when starting out? Tune in to get clear on how to avoid burning out.
The proud sponsor of these letters is yours truly in Your Creative Corner.

TLDR;
This is the shortest newsletter edition to date, so there is no too-long-did’t-read to do it justice.
Those crazy enough to start (and run) a business
Huddle up.
The entrepreneur plays in the arena called business.
There’s an elephant in this room (arena).
It’s driving you insane.
It’s hidden in plain sight:
We call it BUSINESS.
It rhymes (is etymologically akin to) with busyness.
Making the unaware participant:
- Fully hypnotized by the great urgency
- Putting out fires without end
- Chasing a moving target
- The act of being busy
It puts you squarely into a state of perpetual anxiety.
Rushing to reach your goals.
Stretching yourself thin to get more done.
Speeding up to “keep ahead of the curve”.
Conjuring a sense of never enough-ness.
Entrepreneurship is not about the end state.
It’s a daily process.
A journey.
Not a destination.
You never arrive.
How do you get grips on a sensible strategy (instead of a busy-ness plan):
Accept where you are in your journey.
Fall in love with the process.
It’s never done.
There’s always more.
There’s always better.
Go out and live life.
Rest for rests sake.
Take a day off.
Not because you’re done, but because you’re dedicated.
Care for the entrepreneur in you.
Your state of being:
- emotional
- physical
- mental
Have a splendid Sunday
